Distribution types: Gives an indication of the distance of light emitted to either side of a fixture (including front (street side) and back (house side))
There are 5 distinct distribution pattern types :
1 – Long pattern (longer at the side areas and shorter to the front / back areas) Recommended for walkways and bike paths that are narrow to be installed at center point of the area.

2 – Increasing distance to front and back while sides are shortened Recommended for walkways that are wider, bike paths, and roadways that are long and narrow to be installed near the side of a roadway.

3 – Having a clean oval shape, recommended for roadway, general parking and different types of area lighting to be installed near the side of the area.

4 – Circular pattern with further extension of the sides, recommended for wall mounted applications. Ideally recommended to be used for parking area perimeters to be installed at the side of the area.

5 – Having a rather rounded and circular shape, with equal distance from the front to the back, and from side to side, recommended for general area lighting. (Recommended to be installed at the center point of the area).

There are different types of light distribution controls :
- Non-cutoff : This means that the light is emitted in all directions
- Semi-cutoff : Means that the majority of light is emitted below 90 degrees
- Cutoff : Is the situation where the lighting is controlled so that around less than 2.5 % of the light is permitted to be emitted from the fixture above 90 degrees
- Full cutoff : Is a scenario where the light is not allowed to be emitted above 90 degrees (the light is directed directly on the ground below the fixture)
